Phil Ivey has been referred to as the best poker player on the globe by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. Phil was born in Riverside, CA and moved to New Jersey before reaching turning one. His papa taught Phil one cent-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From then on on, Phil was hooked on poker and wanted to learn anything he possibly could about the game. Ivey credits his success to dedication and an eternal love for poker. He states that he’s learning every single day and is very humble about his accomplishments. Phil knows he makes mistakes in each game of poker and always aspires to improve.

Despite the fact that Ivey has come first in some large tournaments, he favors winning cash games on a regular basis.
