A handful of poker tactics will amaze you with their simplicity. This is 1 of them. Take down your outcomes, each and every time you compete.

Church of hold’em Verse #four:

Thou must write down thy wins and your loses; for it’s the total of all a mans achievements which develop his or her basis.

How detailed is your decision. I usually believe that hourly info and that kind of intimate detail is not needed. Simply work out how far in front you are and how much (if any) you have taken out. Of course, if you lose, note that too, regardless of how much it it might pain you.

Don’t omit to write down what type of game you’re playing, if that’s critical to you. (In my expertise, most players keep to what they know and do not try something they do not know. If all you write down is up, loses and withdrawals, you are light years in front of most players around!)

Give yourself achievable ambitions, such as a ‘dream’ goal (new auto, holiday or whatever). When you withdraw, add the $$$$$ withdrawn to your dream counter. The greater the success you have, the nearer that goal will get!
