Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It is the best possible pre-flop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But despite this a large number of players find themselves on the wrong end when given these cards.

When you are given a set of Aces, you just don’t drop out before theflop. You’re positioned with the greatest achievable hand at this part of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say absolutely no to that.

Bear in mind, you’re trying to acquire as much money out of this strong position. You will want to maximize the possibility. Going all-in will merely drive most competitors into folding and not placing a bet.

If you are in the early position (1st or 2nd to cast a bet), you’ll lay a single bet. Any player with a good hand will call, with luck somebody might raise. If someone has made a raise do not hop to re-raise or call, pause for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your tactic will be to get rid of anyone that could be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you will trick one player into believing that you’re bluffing.

If you are in the middle or later spot (near the last to place a bet) you’ll observe as every player calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Guard your hand by making the other players drop out after the flop. If you don’t get rid of your opponents you chance losing your hand.
